The Cerces' DVD "Live in St Louis" one of Top Ten Finalists for 2009 Diamond Awards
"Live in St Louis", The Cerces' live DVD concert, has been named as one of the Top Ten finalists for the Gospel Music Industry's coveted 2009 Diamond Award in the "VIDEO/DVD OF THE YEAR" category. The Diamond Awards have, in recent years, been awarded at the annual National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, in addition to the Singing News Fan Awards. This year, for the first time, they will be presented the week of July 14th-17th, 2009 at the Branson Gospel Music Convention in Branson, Missouri - their new home. The top ten nominees of the Diamond Awards are selected as a result of nation-wide voting by the Gospel Music fans themselves. The Top Ten nominees for this award are: Live In St. Louis (The Cerces), Dream On (Ernie Haase & Signature Sound), Live At the White House (Legacy Five), NQC 2008, GMT (Praise Incorporated), Songs of a Lifetime (Phil Cross), Susie’s Eyes (Hearts of Faith), The Best of Gordon Mote (Gordon Mote), Live at Freedom Hall (The Perrys), and The Ride (The Hoppers) Also, the soundtrack of The Cerces' DVD, which was released as a CD, was given the rating of "AAA Excellent" by The Singing News, which is the highest rating they give.
