Anita Cerce is originally from Pell City, Alabama and has been a Southern Gospel Music lover all of her life. Her late father, Buck Smith, has been the manager and first tenor of the well-known Royal Masters Quartet of the Birmingham area since Anita was a little girl in elementary school. She has fond memories of special weekends when she was allowed to go along.....usually being one of the first ones on the bus, asking where they were going. She spent many of those adolescent  weekends on her Dad’s group’s bus, where she saw first-hand in the concerts what the Lord could do in the lives of those who turned to Him. She sang and traveled in youth choirs as a teen and later, as a young adult, was heavily involved in the bus ministry of a large church. She has also been a Sunday School teacher and led a church Women's Group Ministry. Anita is also presently involved in the Childrens' Ministry at our home church in Branson when The Cerces are not out of town on the road.

People are struck by Anita's sincerity and by her conviction as she sings beautifully of her Savior. It is fitting that Anita now invests her life in this ministry, as she gave her heart to the Lord at a  Gospel Concert in  her pre-teen years.  Now, she rejoices that God has given her the opportunity  to use her lovely voice to spread the message of the Gospel to those in need.

Cliff Cerce is the baritone, piano player and manager of the group. He also  arranges all of the group's music. Originally from Paterson, NJ, Cliff is a former Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, Ministerial College Professor, Evangelist, and Christian Radio Station Live Talk Show Host and Program Director.  He traveled previously with The Gabriels and The Forerunners, and was the piano player for Duane Nicholson, tenor singer of The Couriers, during the several years that The Couriers were on hiatus in the early 1980's.  Cliff was also a studio musician, recording engineer and producer, having produced projects for James Blackwood, The Couriers, Dan Betzer, and many others.... and he worked with The Couriers  with their TV ministry. He also produced and engineered "Revivaltime" for  8 years, which was the official radio broadcast of a major denomination,  airing weekly on 600 US radio stations and in 85 countries. Cliff is also the Vice President of Heart of Truth Ministries, which is headquartered in Temple, Oklahoma.

The Cerces are members of Faith and Wisdom Church of Branson, MO, which was pastored by Gary and Carol McSpadden who oversaw their ministry, and is presently pastored by Dr Mike and Karen Brown. They are also member s of the Southern Gospel Music Association, the International Association of Music Ministries, Heart of Truth Ministries, and the Country Gospel Music Association (also known as CGMA), where they served in the past as the Directors of the Branson Chapter of the Association for 4 years.T

The Cerces have released 10 CDs and 2 DVDs, and have 4 more CDs now in production.. Their live concert DVD, “The Cerces…Live in St Louis”, was one of the Top Ten finalists for the coveted 2009 Diamond Awards (one of Gospel music’s major awards – determined by nationwide fan voting) - while the CD version of that project received The Singing News’ highest rating - “AAA Excellent”. Their music and teaching radio broadcast, “Music and The Word with The Cerces”, presently airs at 9 am each weekday morning on Branson Gospel Radio at www.bransongospelradio.com in their headquarters city of Branson, as well as on 8 other radio stations around the country…and is also available on their podcasts.

Cliff's and Anita's desire is to see souls saved and saints encouraged and uplifted through these ministry opportunities, and they covet your prayerful support.
