Andy Fauth Resigns Due to Wife's Illness
Andy Fauth resigned as Cerces lead singer on January 22, 2007 because of his wife, Sylvia's, recent illness. Sylvia had been traveling with the group everywhere they went, but is now struggling with an illness that has made our kind of travel impossible for her. She is in considerable pain and the doctors have told the Fauth's they can expect the condition to be chronic. Sylvia was recently hospitalized for 4 days. She is unable to work at this time. Of course, we look to the Great Physician to bring healing to Sylvia, but Andy has asked that he be released from his responsibilities with The Cerces, as he feels he should stay in town by her side and no longer travel on the road. Of course, The Cerces support Andy and Sylvia in their decision, and ask all to pray that God will miraculously touch her. Andy is expecting to do some singing locally, but is not planning to travel any distances, so he can be with her at home and help her through this difficult time. After a 3 year absence from the group, former Cerces Lead Singer, Terry Yarham, has returned to the group, and will appear with The Cerces in their concerts around the country. Prayers are appreciated that the Lord will bring healing to Sylvia, and give wisdom and strength to Andy and Sylvia.
